The WCHR2015 group hotel room block at the InterContinental Hotel Miami is sold out.
Your options are to either:
1) Check with the InterContinental Hotel Miami by phone (1-305-577-1000) or their general website (www.icmiamihotel.com) to see if they have any of their regular inventory rooms available for you, which will be at their current rack rates, not the WCHR2015 group rate.
2) Refer to our Overflow Hotel List to check for nearby hotels. The WCHR2015 does not have any group room blocks or group rates arranged at these hotels.

The Congress will be held at the InterContinental Hotel Miami. There is a block of rooms available at this property for Congress delegates. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hotel Deposit/Guarantee/Cancellation PolicyIn order to confirm a guestroom, the hotel requires a one night deposit by credit card, cash or bank draft at the time of booking. The Hotel will not issue a charge to your credit card until the actual meeting. Guaranteed reservations will be held until 1:00AM on the date following the scheduled arrival date and thereafter will be released to the hotel for re-sale. You may cancel up to 48 hours prior to your arrival date without charge. If you are a no-show (do not show up) for your reservation, your credit card will be charged a penalty of one night only.
Check-in time is 4:00PM and check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Hotel RatesDiscounted rates have been secured for the 9th World Congress for Hair Research at the InterContinental Hotel Miami for the dates of Monday/November 16, 2015 through Monday/November 23, 2015, based on availability.
$179 single/double occupancy for standard rooms (with either a king size or two full size beds)
$219 quad/triple occupancy for standard rooms (with two full size beds)
All room rates currently are subject to 13% room tax, which is subject to change. Children under 12 years and younger may stay in their parent’s or guardian’s room at no charge in the existing bedding. There is a maximum occupancy of 4 people per room.
NOTE: WCHR guests will not be charged the hotel’s $10 per night service charge in addition to their room rate. That service charge along with its benefits, are included in the WCHR group rate. Between the benefits of this fee and other added group benefits, WCHR attendees will receive:
- High speed internet access in the guest rooms and the meeting space

- Access to mySpa sauna, steam, drench shower and relaxation rooms

Airport & Ground Transportation InformationThe InterContinental Hotel Miami is located only 7.5 miles from Miami International Airport (airport code MIA).
Taxis: A taxi will take 15-20 minutes between Miami International Airport and the hotel. The estimated taxi fare is $25 each way, plus tip.
Car Rental & Parking: There is an Alamo Car Rental Desk at the hotel. Overnight parking at the hotel is $39 per night.
Metrorail: For $2.25, you can ride the rails between Miami International Airport and the InterContinental Hotel Miami. Board the airport’s free MIA Mover in the terminal to the Metrorail. Take the Metrorail orange line to downtown’s Government Center stop where you will get on the free Metro Mover to the Bayfront Park stop, which is by the hotel.
