Dr. Michael Freiburg

Dr. Michael Freiburg is currently working as a product manager at OMICRON electronics in Austria. He is responsible for instrument transformer test and diagnostic equipment. Before, he has worked as a research assistant at the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany. His research interests included diagnostics of high voltage equipment and material science. In his undergraduate studies his focus was on automation and control engineering before he studied power engineering in his post-graduate studies. He received the engineering degree in 2010 and his PhD degree in 2014, respectively.



Daron Watson

Daron Watson is the OMICRON Area Sales and Application Engineer for the Texas region. He has 20 years’ experience in the electrical industry with roles as an electrician, test engineer, field service representative, technical support engineer and application engineer. He is responsible for training at the OMICRON Academy for instrument transformer, power transformer, and circuit breaker test and diagnostic equipment. Daron has an Associate Degree in Applied Science Technical Studies from Excelsior College where he is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (power systems).
