Peter Kantardziski
Peter Kantardziski has over 40 years of experience in conceptual design, application, troubleshooting and support of various electrical systems. His background is in Electrical Engineering (I&C) and Engineering Physics with 25 years of experience in on-line partial discharge monitoring on all types of rotating electrical machines, as well as analysis and interpretation of test results by various PD equipment manufacturers – possibly the longest continuous experience in the industry. Peter is currently an independent PD consultant, offering a unique range of experience and consulting in the area of on-line partial discharge monitoring on rotating machines. He obtained his M.Sc. and P.Eng. at the University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia.

Fabian Oettl
Fabian Oettl is an Application Engineer in the technical support team of OMICRON electronics in Austria, responsible for primary assets. Since his start in January 2014, his focus has been on diagnostic methods of insulation systems in rotating machines. Fabian worked in the insulation group of the R&D Department of ADRITZ Hydro before joining the OMICRON team. Besides the constant improvement of the existing insulation system for this manufacturer of rotating machines, he was also involved in the development of new insulation materials during this period. Fabian completed his master studies in 2011 at Graz University of Technology.

Thomas Prevost
Thomas A. Prevost is the Regional Project Sales Manager for monitoring products at OMICRON electronics USA where he has worked for the last four years. Prior to joining the OMICRON team, Tom worked for twenty five years at Weidmann Electrical Technologies, a manufacturer of insulation materials and provider of diagnostic services for the transformer industry. Early in his career Tom worked at Tampa Electric Company as an engineer in distribution and production. Tom received his BSEE from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

Tom is a senior member of IEEE. He served as the chairman of the IEEE PES Transformers Committee from 2008 to 2009. He is currently the chair of an IEEE working group developing a guide for moisture in insulating systems, and is active on many other working groups. Tom is also active in ASTM committee D27 on Insulating Fluids and IEC TC10 on Insulating Fluids. He is a member of the US National Committee of CIGRE where he participates in working groups involving insulation aging, insulation moisture measurement, partial discharge measurement and transformer asset management.

He has written many technical papers on the subject of electrical insulation materials, transformer diagnostics and condition monitoring.

Thomas Ritz
Thomas Ritz has been working with OMICRON electronics, Austria since 2007 where he started selecting and establishing new business fields for OMICRON as senior manager in Corporate Business Development. Since 2011 Thomas is part of the executive management team of OMICRON Energy Solutions GmbH, Berlin (GER) with a focus on providing customized solutions in condition based monitoring of high-voltage assets. In this position, Thomas is responsible for the Business Segment Monitoring of OMICRON, worldwide.

Thomas, with his 25+ years of professional experience in product management, sales channel and strategic portfolio management in different industries like power generation and distribution, IT & telecommunications, digital broadcasting and governmental project business is currently focusing with his team on offering modern, modular systems and applications for HV asset diagnosis & monitoring including related data management and expert services.

He received a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Saarland, Saarbrücken, Germany in 1991. Thomas also earned a MBA degree in strategic marketing and general management from Xavier University, Williams College of Business, Cincinnati, OH, USA in 2004.
