Jay Anderson

Jay Anderson has recently come to OMICRON with 24 years’ experience in the utility industry. His experience consists of substation construction, maintenance, and operations. Many of those years were specialized in protective relay, control, and SCADA systems at National Grid & New England Electric. He more recently was the Operations Manager of a Massachusetts municipal utility, where he supervised station maintenance, construction, and operations. He was also a principal in the deployment of an AMI meter system that was part of the DOE’s Smart Grid (ARRA) Program. The AMI system uses include automated meter reading, distribution transformer load monitoring, and remote load controls. He holds a BSEE from The University of Lowell, Massachusetts.


David Stelmach

David Stelmach graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Western New England College, and is presently pursuing his Masters in Electrical Enginering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He joined OMICRON in 2009 as an Application Engineer, and is currently holds the position of Area Sales Manager.

He has vast application experience, specializing in electrical diagnostics, including transformers, circuit breakers, and generators. He has been involved in serveral transformer condition assessment projects. He is an SFRA Specialist in the Power Industry and is a member of the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES.)


Charles Sweetser

Charles Sweetser worked for 18 years in the electrical apparatus diagnostic and consulting business. He has published several technical papers for IEEE and other industry forums. As a member of IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) for 14 years, he actively participates in the IEEE Transformers Committee, where he held the position of Chair of the FRA Working Group PC57.149 until publication in March 2013. He is also a member of several other working groups and subcommittees. Additional interests include condition assessment of power apparatus and partial discharge.
