Seminar Highlights

More than 160 property casualty insurance industry marketers and underwriters gathered in Orlando, Fla. for the 2010 Joint Marketing and Underwriting Seminar, held April 18-20. The program featured several informative industry speaker presentations, and numerous breakout sessions addressing such topics as effective marketing, insurance distribution, going green, blogging and underwriting.
One of the highlights of the program was a presentation by Karlyn Carnahan, principal for Novarica, who addressed Web 2.0 technologies and practices for the insurance industry.
