Doug Allen is VP, Director of Information Technology, at State Auto Insurance Companies based in Columbus, Ohio. With more than 30 years experience in insurance technology, Allen has held a variety of IT based leadership roles at both the insurance company and agency management system levels. He began his IT career with the State Auto Insurance Companies in 1979 and assumed his current role in July 2004. State Auto has been recognized by the ACORD organization for their implementation of standards based solutions.
Paul Clayson is chief information officer at West Point Underwriters, LLC / American Traditions Insurance Company. He was appointed to his current position in September 2008. Clayson is responsible for all aspects of WPU's IT infrastructure and line-of-business application development, support and maintenance, including information service delivery and security. Under his direction, the IT department is dedicated to working with both internal and external business partners to accelerate WPU's business by aligning WPU's technology strategy with its business strategy.
