Register now for the 2009 Information Technology Conference, Oct. 4-7 at The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Ariz. The conference is specifically created for property casualty chief information officers, senior IT and business executives and other support staff responsible for the direction and management of their company’s IT growth and development. It is the largest IT conference of its kind in the U.S.
Speakers
This year's conference features a number of dynamic speakers, including Bill Hartnett, U.S. Insurance Industry Solutions Director for Microsoft. Hartnett was named the fourth most influential person in Institutional Investor's eFinance Top 40 for 2003 and 2004, and is a contributor to FOX Business on financial markets and the impact of technology. He will discuss how collaborative information sharing tools such as instant messaging and social media Web sites are changing the work culture.
Also speaking is James T. Harris, host of his own radio show on Milwaukee’s top rated 620 AM/WTMJ, “The National Conversation With James T. Harris.” His presentation will define the leadership skills and practices that different generations will need to trust you to lead them through today's difficult times.
Program
The seminar program also features such topics as changing expectations of IT, emerging technology trends, IT governance, IT expense, security in an unsecure world and more. One of the central goals of the conference is the exchange of timely and relevant information between IT colleagues. The program accomplishes this through a variety of informative general sessions, concurrent breakouts and interactive panel discussions.
