2008 Meeting Highlights
|
More than 1,085 CEOs and senior executives of property casualty insurance companies, reinsurers, brokers, intermediaries and underwriters gathered in Scottsdale, Ariz for the 2008 PCI Annual Meeting held Octber 26-29 at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa.
David A. Sampson, PCI president and CEO, opened the event with remarks focusing on industry challenges amid turbulence in the U.S. and global financial markets. Sampson compared leading the industry through these volatile times to running a presidential campaign.
PCI's Achievements
During a video interview with Business Insurance at the Annual Meeting, Sampson addressed the association’s key achievements for the past year and challenges for 2009 and beyond.
Member Recognition
During a special membership recognition ceremony held at the meeting, PCI honored 50- and 25-year members as well as welcomed new members.
