Overview
The ISHRS is proud to present this regional workshop hosted by Dr. Damkerng Pathomvanich. This two and a half day didactic live surgery workshop will include lectures, live surgery demonstrations on FUT, FUE, donor scar repair, eyebrows, eyelashes, and body hair transplantation.

Learning objectives – Upon completion of this program, you will be able to:
  • Identify the difference between Asian hair transplantation compared with Caucasian HT.
  • Differentiate proper Asian hairline design from that of Caucasian to achieve more natural results in these ethnic groups.
  • Assess the different methods of donor harvesting with minimal transection.
  • Identify the different technique for trichophytic donor closure in Asians.
  • Evaluate techniques of FUE in Asians.
  • Prepare follicular unit grafts from donor tissue under magnification using strip and follicular unit extraction techniques with a minimum amount of transection damage to hair follicles.
  • Identify techniques that achieve the optimum cosmetic outcome in eyebrow and hair transplantation for Asians.
  • Assess the technique of implanter uses for grafts insertion vs conventional methods.
Target Audience – Physicians from beginner to advanced level of experience in hair restoration surgery.
 
CME Credit – CME Credit will not be offered for this workshop. Rather, a certificate of attendance will be issued.

Submit an Abstract for the Free Paper Session – Attendees are welcome to submit an abstract for a free paper oral presentation at the workshop. There are limited slots, so please submit your abstract early to Dr. Damkerng Pathomvanich at: path_d@hotmail.com . Deadline to submit an abstract is March 31, 2010, and should not exceed 250 words. Each selected abstract will be 10 minutes total = 7-8’ presentation + 2-3’ Q&A.
