Small Pain Fiber NCS Certification

The AASM is the only organization through which physicians and technicians can become certified in Class III small pain fiber NCS Electrodiagnosis.
Just fill out the form and send it in with your fees. You will receive a workshop DVD and examination. While watching the DVD answer the question and then mail the examination to AASM, 3333 North Calvert, Suite 555, Baltimore, MD 21218
Next you will call who will ask a few questions to make sure you and your technician are performing the electrodiagnsotic exam (EDX) correctly. Your technician will then be cleared for certification. For the doctor to complete the certification he must fax a few of graphs and reports to NDA Support to demonstrate his ability in analyzing and effectively interpreting the findings. Then he too will be cleared for 2-years certification. When you attend an AASM Workshop you will receive an additional 2-years certification (4-years total). You must be actively using small pain fiber NCS in your practice to qualify for certification.
