Small Pain Fiber NCS Certification

The AASEM is the only organization through which physicians and technicians can become certified in small pain fiber NCS Electrodiagnosis.
To become certified, you must be actively using the pf-NCS in your practice. Fill out the certification application and send it with your $350 fee. You will receive a workshop DVD and quiz which you fill out while watching the DVD. Then fax the quiz to (800) 875-0119 and perform the pf-NCS on two staff members (2 cervical and 2 lumbar studies) You will then call (800) 766-0884 and be asked several questions about the test. If you answer these questions the final examination will be faxed to you. It is open book and takes you through the analysis.
This certification is good for five years. (delete the next two lines in the paragraph above and add the following instead) - Certification workshops are also available at our annual AASEM conferences. Upcoming conferences are posted on this website a few months prior to the scheduled conference dates.

Certification & Membership Fees
- Annual dues $100.00 USD
- Certification fee $350.00 per doctor.
- Once the doctor is certified technicians can receive certificates of training. Ask the support staff about this option. Staff certification is $250.00 each.
