On behalf of the members of the Virginia Association of Hazardous Materials Response Specialists (VAHMRS), I invite you to attend the 32nd Annual Virginia Hazardous Materials Conference. In partnership with the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) we continuously strive to provide hazardous materials responders with a high quality training and networking opportunity.

Regardless of the challenges that face us as responders, we must stay focused on our mission and remain proficient in our skills. Clandestine Drug Labs to Chemical Suicides, Crude Oil Transportation Incidents to Fixed Facility Responses, and Infectious Diseases to Natural Disasters – The Commonwealth has experienced it all; and as responders, our program continues to be a solid foundation for this wide range of responses.The Virginia HAZMAT Conference continues to serve as a vital training and educational resource for hazardous materials responders from across the United States. This undertaking would not be successful if it weren’t for the committed volunteers from VAHMRS and VDEM.
