Russell Raymond

Russ Raymond received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1991 and his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York in 1997.

In his previous work as Senior Engineer at Northeast Utilities, he was the technical lead for high voltage and extra high voltage circuit breakers, circuit switchers and gas insulated switchgear (GIS). In addition, as lead electrical engineer for the Transmission Line Engineering Group, he designed grounding systems, conducted studies of electromagnetic interference and electric and magnetic fields, and created electrical specifications for equipment used in overhead transmission line construction.

Russ's specialties include: Ground impedance, step and touch potential measurements of grounding systems used in electric transmission and distribution measurements, as well as petroleum industries; soil resistivity measurements for grounding system designs and electromagnetic interference studies; sound measurements of both impulse and background noise; grounding system (grids and equipotential planes) designs.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE. is currently Vice President and Chief Engineer of OrionMagnetics.

William Yu

William Yu received his BEng(Hon) degree and his MSc degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2006 and in 2010 respectively.

In 2006, he joined OMICRON electronics Asia in Hong Kong and was responsible for technical and application support for both primary and secondary testing in Asia-Pacific. In 2008, with sales and application support responsibilities, he conducted many training programs and performed field demonstrations in different countries. His experiences include performing various primary tests on power transformer, instrument transformer and power cable. He is currently working in OMICRON's office in Waltham, Massachusetts as a training and application engineer.

William Knapek
Will Knapek received a BS degree During his time with the Army Corps of Engineers, he held positions as a power plant instrumentation specialist, a writer/instructor for the Army Engineer School, and a Facility Engineer for a Special Operations compound. He has been active in the electrical testing industry since retiring in 1995. He worked for NETA companies in the Nashville, TN area until joining OMICRON electronics as an application engineer in April of 2008.
