About the Evaluator Trainer Course
The National Dairy FARM Program is a nationwide, verifiable program that addressess animal well-being. Having a well-trained, knowledgeable evaluators is key to a sucessfull animal care program. Learn more about the FARM Program here.
This two day intensive training will cover the intent of the FARM Program and explain how to sucessfully complete a FARM Version 3.0 evaluation based on the National Dairy FARM Program guidelines.
After succesful completion of the FARM Trainer Course, the attendee will be certified to conduct on-farm evaluations and train FARM Animal Care evaluators. This provides cooperatives, propietary processors, veterinarians and university personnel the opportunity to conduct in-house training for new FARM Program evaluators.

Prerequisite Requirements
- Trainers should have at least 2 years experience and a dairy science degree OR 8 years of on-farm experience in the dairy industry.
- Trainers are responsible for their travel and lodging expenses to and from trainings.
- Trainers should be willing to hold evaluator training sessions in their local areas.
*Experience must be approved by the National Dairy FARM Program
Certification Requirements
Certified trainers must complete the Evaluator Training and score an 80% or higher on the multiple choice exam.
