Welcome to the registration site for the Hospital Engagement Network (HEN) Week being held in Chicago, Illinois on August 13-17, 2012.
Day 1 and 2: Improvement Leader Fellowship Program
The aim of the Improvement Leader Fellowship Program is to build a cadre of front-line hospital improvement leaders who will drive their hospital’s quality improvement projects. This program is also designed to provide State Hospital Association leads with the tools needed to support hospital efforts.
The Fellowship Program consists of face-to-face meetings and webinars that will instruct hospital leaders in the science of improvement, measurement and culture/teamwork. The end result will be a team of front-line hospital improvement leaders armed with best practices to engage their teams, overcome challenges and spread sustainable improvement strategies.
The AHA/HRET Hospital Engagement Network (HEN) Improvement Leader Fellowship will be offered in four regional locations. Each of the locations will feature three in-person learning sessions that build upon each other sequentially. To ensure continuity, each participant should plan on participating in all 3 waves in the same location.
Day 3, 4 and 5: National Improvement Collaborative Training
The National Improvement Collaborative training will provide an overview of the 10 core areas targeted for improvement. The core areas are divided among four collaboratives over three days, each with topic specific tracks. Please see AGENDA for detailed track descriptions.
